Build graphical network map from netstat output

Hi,

Has anyone ever come across any software which allows you to import the output from netstat commands from different machines to build a graphical map of connections between different systems?

I'm trying to see how a bunch of machines connect to one another via network communications to work out dependencies, however I don't want to have to port scan them.

I have the facility to gather netstat output from them, and I would rather build the map by importing this information from the various machines.

Thanks - Lee

Hi Beev,

Thanks for the reply. This wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but still looks like an interesting tool.

I think I found what I was looking for anyway, a utility called GraphViz. I can gather the information I want from my servers using netstat, process it into a certain format and then use GraphViz to process the data and create a graphical representation.

More information here -> http://www.graphviz.org/
