browse option for auto.master for yp mounts

Is there a --browse function for auto.master entries? am mounting /home via:
/home yp:/auto_home
but if I issue the "ls /home" command, I only see the currently mounted /home directories.
I tried the --browse option to the above line with the same results.

Solaris defaults to browse. HP-UX 10.20 allows a --nobrowse option. What about RedHat? Am using Enterprise WS Rev 3.

Thanks!

I would think if /home is the automount mount point, you have to ls /home/whatever
to automount /home/whatever

Yes, but we'd like to be able to see the directories listed without having to know the directory name first. Thought there might be a --browse or similar option. If the user ls /home/user1, then an ls /home will show user1, etc... but not the complete list.
Thanks!
