We are facing broken pipe exception while connecting to SMPP gateway through TCP/IP. on RHEL4

It is coming till we restart the application. Below is the exception we are getting.

if the application fails/dies then any streams to it will be closed - any 'client' or other application connected to that stream gets 'broken pipe' signal, perhaps that is what you are seeing?
