Broadcom 4401 with Mandrake 9.0 Install
 

Hi, i really need help
I have a A7V8X ASUS with LAN Broadcom 4401, with Mandrake 9.0
i've downloaded the Driver for the Netwrok, and i have Compiled the Driver. i have tested it
insmod bcm4400.o and it works...
but when i go to Networks, and try to Config it, i can not find it in the list from Net Cards....
i have seen in lib/module/kernel/drivers/net that all drivers are like
bcm4400.o.gz but the driver that i need is installed as bcm4400.o

can anyone help me?

I've the same problem...i make the driver, make install it, insmod the driver, ifup eth0, and did everything already....

the driver is up and running...but when I try to config internet, it still ask me to pick a main driver.... any idea??

I use RH before, and networking was very smooth...
I really don't know why u guys like Mandrake.. it really sucks

I don't know about Mandrake, but I do have my own problems in RH 9.0
