Hi, i really need help
I have a A7V8X ASUS with LAN Broadcom 4401, with Mandrake 9.0 i've downloaded the Driver for the Netwrok, and i have Compiled the Driver. i have tested it insmod bcm4400.o and it works... but when i go to Networks, and try to Config it, i can not find it in the list from Net Cards.... i have seen in lib/module/kernel/drivers/net that all drivers are like bcm4400.o.gz but the driver that i need is installed as bcm4400.o can anyone help me? thanks Oscar |
I've the same problem...i make the driver, make install it, insmod the driver, ifup eth0, and did everything already....
the driver is up and running...but when I try to config internet, it still ask me to pick a main driver.... any idea?? I use RH before, and networking was very smooth... I really don't know why u guys like Mandrake.. it really sucks |
