Question bridging->remote PC set ip to ??

there are 2 PC..name PC 1 (FEDORA core 2) and PC 2 (WINDOWS XP)

i have create a bridge in PC 1 where eth0 connect to router, eth1 connect to PC 2..

So the question now is... what IP address, gateway address, should i set in the PC 2 which is connected to PC 1 ??

i have tried to change the IP around , but i still cant connect to internet using PC 2. WHY??

i use this command to create the bridge :

#brctl addbr br0
#ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0 up promisc
#ifconfig eth1 0.0.0.0 up promisc
#brctl stp br0 0
#brctl addif br0 eth0
#brctl addif br0 eth1
#ifconfig br0 up

Hope some1 can help me...
i am a greenhorn in Linux....so..a lot of thing have to learn...Thanks for guiding me..

Are you trying to share the internet connection? If so, why are you trying to bridge them? What is your goal?

i want to do the bandwidth management using "tc", therefore in PC 1 i have to create a bridge. PC 1 will do the bandwidth alocation (Linux box). And PC2 can get access to the internet according to the tc qdisc rule set in PC1...(PC 2 is connected to PC 1's eth1)....( therfore, i cant said that PC 1 is sharing the connection with PC 2, because PC 1 act as a medium or intermediate between router and PC2).

my english not so good..therefore...interpretation got some problem..hope u understand what i mean. Thanks.

So what IP and Gateway address should i set in PC 2???or is there anything i miss in setting the bridge?
Heeeeeeelllllllpppppppp......
