Bonding or Teaming 2 adsl pppoe connections.

Hello!

I am running a linux server. And i have 2 adsl lines and 2 modems.

All i want to do is to team or bond both adsl connections to get 1 output when using a RedHat server with Squid proxy and cache. or using an other dedicated PC for this task.

I would be greatly thankful for any help,

Doable, but not recommended

Well depending on what distro you are running you should be able to do this. I don't know about the DSL part though. If your using PPOE then you may have to jump through some hoops. If you install ifenslave you can easily bond two network connections together and have them act as one network. I use ifenslave a lot at work to sniff packets on a passive tap at work, but the interfaces keep going up and down. It's really flaky sometimes. If your going to do any bonding and you want stability I would suggest OpenBSD or Solaris..
