blacklisting driver


i have a WMP54G version 4.1, and am told i have to blacklist the rt61 driver so feisty will stop crashing. how do i do that?

If the module name is rt61, you need to add the line

blacklist rt61
to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist as root.
