bind9 and Internet Connection

So, I've set up a DNS server on Ubuntu Server and bind9. However, the only thing is that the client PCs have no Internet access. They can ping the router, and other computers on the network, but no internet access. Keep in mind that the router is a 2-NIC setup, with one NIC going to the Internet connection, and the other NIC going to the network.

How do I configure bind9 to share the internet connection? There was a tutorial on the Ubuntu forums using dnsmasq and ipmasq. Obviously, dnsmasq conflicts, and when ipmasq is loaded, everything slows to a crawl, to the point of timing out. But, still no Internet.

hi

IPtables is the linux firewall that you need to read about , it is the utility that shares your internet connection by using a masquerade command "NAT" and give you the chance to control your network packets traffic and protocls.
and you have to enable ip_forwording too, its included in the following links:

http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Iptable...2.6..2A_kernel
http://iptables-tutorial.frozentux.n...-tutorial.html
