So I am fairly new at linux, an aspiring learner.
So my problem is that I want to bind failover IP to my users over SSH. Lets say, I have 2 user u1 and u2 and two failover IPs assigned in eth0:1 and eth0:2, a.b.c.d and a.b.e.f, what I would like to do is, that when user u1 connects he automatically uses the IP a.b.c.d and when user u2 connects he uses the second IP. I was told it could be possible using IPTables, if so could I have guidance on how to go about it?
