BIND DNS update
 

I have updated the DNS servers to a domain trough the control panel for the domain. When I use my local DNS server, and type host -t ns domain.com it shows the old DNS servers, because it's cached. When I try f.ex host -t ns domain.com some.other.dns.server.com it gives me the correct because it hasn't been cached there.

I am wondering when my local BIND will update and show the correct ones?

in zone file. there is option for cache time.

1D = 1 day, this desribes how long this record will live in other nameserver's cache.

have u reloaded your dns service?

It was updated today. I think the nameserver refreshes it's cache each hour or something. It's a option for it in Webmin.
