Behind NAT

Hi all,

I am trying to connect my linux box behind the NAT with public IP Address. I am taking Internet from satellite, and they given us two public ip address. One is assigned in MOHO router, and second I want to put in my Linux box. But my linux box is behind the same router which taking WAN connection from satellite receiver. And linux box to the router is in DHCP mode, and working well.
But the question is: How I can assigned second public ip address to my linux box, so if someone is trying to access he need to use the server ip address not the router ip.
Here is my network topology.

Satellite Receiver
|
Router
|
Linux Box (in this box I need to put the second public real ip)

I will be appreciating if someone can give me the way how to do it.

i beleive u mean a Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) when u say ur satellite is through internet. there are n number of ways to answer ur queries but lets keep it simple
the two public ips must be the static ips. one for the router and one for the linux server box for the WAN. please do run a proxy server ( Squid ) in your linux box and add a local IP which will be contacted for internet access. also tighten up your router natting a bit and dont allow local ips to nat their way to the internet and you are done.

cheers

W.salam,

Just now i called my Sattlite provider, he asked me, first connect receiver to the HUB and take one line from HUB to Linux Box and assigne first ip address, and second take it into Router for local routing.

I hopte it should work.
