Please be specific. What do you mean with "add entries" and "edit existing entries"? Add to or edit what?

well if I add simple path of the file it will open file directly as I'm typing message in this body it is same like that in that webmin. All I wanted to to is it appear as button let say add now having feilds like

MAc address:
IP address:
user name:
date:

after filling out all of them when click on add. it will append the entry at bottom of last entry . same as one button for show users and one for search to search existing user for update , he can not delete any entry from that file . hope you understand what I mean now.

@Net_Spy,

unSpawn is much more polite than I am.

Please take a moment from your busy life to click on your name (at the left, in this thread), then choose "Find more posts by Net_Spy". Take another moment from your valuable time to re-read all your posts, as I have just done.

Do you follow up the threads you post? It seems not, because I have read them.

You ask a question, receive advice and then just go away. Where's the "Thanks, that fixed the problem for me" or "That didn't work, but this happened instead..... " ?

We are not here to answer your questions because you feel we should give you all the answers.

LQ is free.

You are free to post your questions, and other users are free to choose whether they have the time, interest, or inclination to answer them. Those of us that answer questions, rather than just pose them (which is what you only do), also have lives to lead, and jobs to do.

Have you anything to contribute?. No knowledge perhaps, but a "thanks" or follow-up post might be appreciated.

If you wish to continue to receive help on these forums, may I suggest you read this:

Think about it.
