BackupPC help
Hi,
I have been searching for BackupPC installation and configuration guide on fedora 8 or 7 through net, i could see only other linux distros. If any one of you have successfully implemented, please let me know. regards, T. Saravana. |
You don't need a specific Fedora guide to BackupPC, all you need to find is a guide for the same version of BackupPC that you are running. I would expect Fedora 7 and 8 probably have BackupPC 3.0, and 3.1 was released a few weeks ago. BackupPC 3.0 is the same on Fedora as Debian as Ubuntu as Slackware as FreeBSD. All that you need to do is to get the BackupPC box talking to the box being backed up, and it is all said and done.
What are you having a problem with? Peace, JimBass |
