Automount home directories???

I am trying to get NIS running on a server. I have the client authentication running fine, but I am having issues getting the /home/guests/guestN (N = station number) directories mounting as home directories for the remote users. I have created the directories manually on the server. I have exported the directories, I can manually mount the /home/guests/guestN directory from a client computer. The problem is the automounter is not automatically mounting the home directories when the guests log in.

My question is this...what else do I need to do on the server to export the home directories to the NIS clients? Can you direct me to some documentation on how to setup both the client and server side, so when a NIS user logs in the user is automatically mounted to their home directory on the server.

Thank you in advance for your help.
