Asus usb-n10 wireless adapter drivers debian wheezy

I installed firmware-realtek from debian repos. wlan or usb isn't in /etc/network/interfaces. My user is in netdev group. I'm using gnome network manager. It doesn't detect anything wireless. I've get only my wired connection 1. The adapter is seen as:
Code:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0b05:17ba ASUSTek Computer, Inc.
There are drivers on cd, the name of the archive is
Code:
rtl8188C_8192C_usb_linux_v4.0.1-1_6911.20130308.tar
However there is:
Quote:
This driver only supports kernel 2.618~2.6.38, your linux is suggested to be Software Development mode that can be correctly built.
My linux kernel is 3 something. Now I don't know maybe I should install these drivers. But what about kernel versions.
I saw a similar thread and installing firmware-realtek helped.
