Assistance - VPN Bridging Multiple Networks

Ok, some network info ...

I have six remote linux networks to connect to .. All remote sites are running Debian R3.0r1 linux to provide email facilities, etc.

I also have two other sites running Microsoft SBS 2003, again, that I would like to connect to - at the minute we are connecting to these networks via the SBS VPN client ..

To start with I want to link our network to one of the linux networks (a clients). How should I go about this? I have full control over the networks at both ends.

I would like to also enable our LAN to allow our remote engineers to connect over VPN (all our remote laptops run a combination of Debian R3.0 and Windows XP Pro)

Finally, I am completely 100% new to VPN :)

Any advice? :)

What is your budget?

As cheap as possible :) It is possible that some of the networks will be reworked at a later stage with Frame Relay connections, so we don't want to put too much equipment in at this stage.
