I am looking into the possibility of giving out IPs to devices with certain MAC OUIs. I have looked over the documentation of dhcpd, and it doesn't seem like this is a feature, or at least not a well documented one (or perhaps I have just missed it).

To be clear, I want to have a range of IPs that are only given out to devices with certain MAC OUIs. I don't want reservations via MAC though, I want it to be an IP pool where devices get a dynamic IP, I just want to give out those IPs to only specific devices.

I'm not sure if that is possible, but I figured I might ask and see if anyone had any ideas about it.

I think something like this, will do what I want, but I haven't tested it yet.
