Apache userdir.

Hello..

I'm trying to setup a intranet with apache.
people login to a webserver, with username + passwd)
now i want to host there home directory's asswell.

so i looked at the module userdir, to do the job.
but, there is the issu with permissions and all.
and second, if a user has a .php or .html file the file will go trough the
php-pharser.. and displayed (and we have a security prob)
coz i also have an upload script to upload files aswell..

i'm just looking for an easyway to host there home dirs.
also tought of ftp, it does what i want, except
the autherisation is an problem..
don't want to let my user authenticate there self twice..!
(http and ftp)

unless there is a way to send the logged in username & pass to the ftp..?
does someone have sugestions for hosting homedirs true http ?

Greetings
Collen

What about something like this?
http://www.webfilebrowser.org/

Remember you don't need to parse all php files if you don't want to. You can set it up just to do it for one directory - ie where your script is.
