Apache logs directory

Hey,
I've got my first home server up 'n running fine, the logs directory for my Apache server has some strange entries I can't seam to find any reference to :

file listing include several files like :

httpd.mm.1357.sem 0 B Empty Document
httpd.mm.132.sem 0 B Empty Document
httpd.nn20143.sem 0 B Empty Document

I'm guessing it's a semaphore for maybe mailman [mm] ?

All my searches, including this forum have no references to them that I can find.

Anyone know ?

I found this that might explain what that log pertains to which I believe is apart of the EAPI and MM library but I might be wrong. But every search of that keyword mm always referred to the EAPI or API in apache.

"EAPI is one solution for modules that need to take more control of Apache than the current Apache API allows. EAPI allows modules to hook into Apache with a loose coupling so DSO support is unaffected. Many modules can make use of such a mechanism. The first was the third-party SSL module, mod_ssl, which uses EAPI to integrate into Apache cleanly. With so many sites already patching in EAPI to their 1.3 servers it would be sensible to include EAPI in a future 1.3 release, but this would make it incompatible with Apache 2.0 which already contains a different hook mechanism."

httpd.mm.#.sem

Yea, EAPI was 'enable-ruled' into my Apache + PHP build, so it does look like a memory management semaphore.
