Alias IP address


Hi, I am able to set two IP address to an Ethernet interface by using the ifconfig command and its option in shell and also, i am able to remove the Aliased IP address by bringing down the interface. I want the same thing to be done by using C program without executing system function call. Can U please help me in this regards?
