Dears,
I'd like to implement a new wireless routing protocol on NS2.
Only I need a recommendation
Do I use AgentJ to easy implement the protocol in Java, as I have 4 years experiences in java or implementing in C++??
Does Java affect the performance of the simulation? could anybody who uses AgentJ, send me her/his opinion and feedback of working on it...
Thanks in advance
Mariam

No experience in it, but if I were you, I'd use AgentJ. If you've got the experience in Java, that would be easier and quicker for you, with less chance of making a programming error.
If it was me...I'd do both, and see which one ran faster, or if there WAS a difference, so I'd have a benchmark for next time I had to do it.
implementation of my own wireless protocol with AgentJ

First, don't hijack someone elses thread with your own question, and don't re-open old threads. Open your own thread for your own question.
Second, folks here can help you, but you have to provide some actual details...things like verison/distro of Linux, WHAT 'errors' you're getting, where/when/etc. Put this in your own thread, and you might be able to get help.
thanks for help, I created new thread but when I submit it it was not sent to the agentJ ns2 category.
thanks
There is NO "ns2" category, there is a Programming category, either you may put your question there or you may choose some other category from here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/
thank you dude, I posted My thread on this category "networking" I wish to have a reply
Anisha is a girl's name, BTW, creating two duplicate threads in NOT a great idea, Moderators would close ONE of them, so it is better if you report (by clicking the REPORT button at the right bottom of your first post in your thread) the thread which YOU want to be closed!
