Advice on good cheap hosting services

I'm looking for an inexpensive but reliable web hosting service. Have been using Byet, but they have yet to successfully renew the subscrition without putting the site into the toilet for several days, so am in the market for another service.

It doesn't need to have great tech support, just reliably keep the site up. cpanel, of course, is a plus.

There was a similar thread, but it was several years old, and had only a couple suggestions.

Thanks.

I've been happy with Bluehost, but I don't use it for really heavy/complex sites, so I can't speak to how it performs under those conditions. In general, they support MySQL, PHP, and serve up my business home pages with good speed.
