Hey everyone. It's been awhile since I've been to LQ, just got internet installed at my new house.
Anyway, they of course made me buy their DSL modem, a SpeedStream 4200. I can connect fine with that, but I want to use my 2Wire 1000HW (I think that's the model #) instead, which is a DSL modem/Wireless router. I can't seem to get it to connect tho. I think I have all the settings correct in the 2wire unit (I'm not that experienced with DSL configuration) but every time I try to make it connect to my ISP, it gives me an error saying that it couldn't find a PPP login server or something like that.
Any suggestions? I apologize if I'm leaving out vital details. Again, I'm not well-versed in DSL configuration.
