Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for setting up a USB ADSL Modem on Redhat 7. The ISP is BTopenworld. The plan is to setup the ADSL modem on a redhat server and share it with the rest of the network using NAT(IPMasq). I have read that I may need PPPOE running, depending on the ISP, I also think that a Re-compile of the kernal with USB support is needed. A webpage would do just something to start me off.

This is not for me personally, I use a cable modem which is way easy to setup. My colleague is kind of having a (Ripping Hair on Head) Session.

Thanks in Advance :)

USB as a ethernet type setup internet connection. Well, last I read it was still in development stages, so the only thing I can suggest is to go to: http://www.linux-usb.org for all your Linux and USB info.
