admin.ldif for ldap

hi has any ldap admins got any example or any good tips on setting up my ldap server for windows authentification?

i havent created 1 user or group yet and want to get the "domain admins" and other domain groups right as i know you only have the one chance at getting it right and i dont realy want to have to reinstall my ldap server again for a second attemp.

i am only asking as i havent found any good exaples or expelations on the web and i have been googleing for 2 days with no joy

thanks for any help

i hav found the gid listing for what sid's the domain groups need to be, i must be stupid coz it was on the samba how to! i it didnt even occure to me to have a look on there.

still i will be greatfull for any help on adding the users as i still a a little unsure at setting it up properly

i would also be gretfull if an ldap admin could submit a working ldif file for the default windows domain groups that works and does give the users/groups admin wrights over the M$ machines as i am pushed for time and cant loginto any of the shares on my server utill this is sorted out and i have 500GB of data that needs to tranfered back onto the server

thanks

berrance
