Adding IPs

I'm trying to add a block of /28 (*.*.9.128/28) to my web server, but the block on another gateway then my other block. How do I go about adding the IP range?

I'm on CentOS 5.2

(If you have a lot of IP to add, consider use range)

# nano -w /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0-range0
(add as following)

IPADDR_START=192.168.9.129
IPADDR_END=192.168.9.142
CLONENUM_START=0

(save it and restart network)
now check with this command
#/sbin/ifconfig -a | grep "inet add" | cut -f2 -d\: | cut -f1 -d" "
