active directory authentication


hi
i have a windows 2000 server , configured as active directory
how can i configure samba 3to authenticate to it?
i use novell linux desktop, and i have followed this link:
billboswellconsulting.com/addl_Linux_Info_authenticating_suse.html
but still can join and can not authenticate

What error does it give you?
Your problem could be authenication, network connectivity, DNS, etc..

Check /var/log/messages and /var/log/secure for error messages and post them please.
