Accessing Shares from windows

The problem is I cannot access the shares from my linux machine on my windows machine. I can however access the windows shares on me linux machine. It's a simple home network, 2 computers and a router. I've read this thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...res+in+windows and it seemed like it was the same problem as mine. I have done everything mentioned there with no luck. You can read my smb.conf here

It looks to me like your linux box doesn't have a host name.

Enter as root: hostname <your new host-name>

You my need to restart KDE after changing the host-name.
Also, use the 'testparm' command on your /etc/samba/smb.conf file to verify it's correctness.
