access denied to a windows 2003 server

Hi All,

I currently have two pc's with a 2003 server and a brand new fedora installed at home.
When i try to access the server, it says something like
You don't have suffisant rights to access « smb://servername ».

But i am using administrator account to log on.... as i am new to samba and network stuff... can someone give me some advice to solve this problem ?

Yo umm
type smbclient -U=administrator -L ipaddy
post the error

also what version of samba do u have as i think u need samba V3 to access active directories

you are tring to access the 2003 server from an lunix client or winows client and what is the confguration in your server is it a domazin server or you have installed an OU pls be more detailes and all thing will be good
