Access CUPS web interface "Administrative Tasks"


Hi I have installed cups and it's web interface..i can access it remotely through 192.168.1.1:631..and it is working fine..but when I click on administrative tasks or if I try to add a pringer I get the following message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access the resource on this server.

Any suggestions are welcome

Log in as root. Or open your browser as root, with the command gksuexec, entering the name of your browser, and then, when prompted, your root password. Then, access the cups controls via localhost on the port 631.

Actually Iam trying to log in remotely since there is no X-Server installed on the debian box..so I need to access CUPS from an IP other than the loopback IP..and to enable Admin access on that IP..

I.E. in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf

<Location />
Order Deny,Allow
Deny From All
Allow From 127.0.0.1
Allow From 192.168.1.*
</Location>

<Location /admin>
(...)
Order Deny,Allow
Deny From All
Allow From 127.0.0.1
Allow From 192.168.1.*
</Location>
