about mac layer hooks

hi ,
I want to add lsm hooks at mac layer for wireless network security. But In linux security module framework there is no hooks at mac layer . Can we add hooks at mac layer?what may me it's advantages and disadvantages?
and is it worth to add hooks at mac layer?plz send me reply as soon as possible.
