a pptp vpn problem


I setup a pptp vpn server by using pptpd-1.3.4-1.rhel5.1 and a client on other server by using pptp-1.7.2-3.rhel5


they are all working find before I sent large data via vpn.
when I do that I get this log form the vpn server log
May 13 14:14:27 pptp pppd[25234]: Unsupported protocol 0x22db received
May 13 14:14:27 pptp pppd[25234]: Unsupported protocol 'MP+' (0x73) received
May 13 14:14:27 pptp pppd[25234]: Unsupported protocol 0x8a2c received
May 13 14:14:27 pptp pppd[25234]: Unsupported protocol 0x40b1 received
May 13 14:14:27 pptp pppd[25234]: Unsupported protocol 'MP+' (0x73) received

and this messages log on client
May 13 14:01:51 localhost pptp[11094]: anon warn[decaps_greptp_gre.c:426]: discarding bogus packet 84006 (expecting 81618)
May 13 14:01:51 localhost pptp[11094]: anon warn[decaps_greptp_gre.c:426]: discarding bogus packet 84007 (expecting 81618)
May 13 14:01:51 localhost pptp[11094]: anon warn[decaps_greptp_gre.c:426]: discarding bogus packet 84008 (expecting 81618)
May 13 14:01:51 localhost pptp[11094]: anon warn[decaps_greptp_gre.c:426]: discarding bogus packet 84009 (expecting 81618)
May 13 14:01:51 localhost pptp[11094]: anon warn[decaps_greptp_gre.c:426]: discarding bogus packet 84010 (expecting 81618)

anyone met this problem?if met can share the resolvent。

i have used openswan (ipsec), openvpn and poptop as VPN solutions. i havent met those errors with pptp but i had lots of troubles with it. i can tell u that pptp is not a good option. if there is no obligation, u should go with openvpn or openswan.
