ok here goes. first of all i am new to linux. i figured that i might as well join in since it is a FREE and stable OS. i am running winlinux (with a boot disk) and winme. anyway here are my questions.

1. how can i setup my dsl modem? my provider will not support linux. it is a 3com adsl internal pci modem. i could not find any drivers for it online.

2. i don't even know if this can be done, but here goes. i have a phoneline network setup in my house. how could i set this up in linux? (is it possible?) it is a 10 mb phoneline card from diamond multimedia.

i really want to get to know linux, and some help to my questions will be very encouraging.
