Welcome to LQ!!!

You have posted the delivery failure message. What exactly you want us to assist you with? You have to give us more details to dig in further.

Is the domain you sent email to managed by you? Do you follow the same naming convention as used in this email like: name.name@domain.com? Whenever you are posting a query make sure that you give enough details and what you are expecting.

For setting up sendmail (I prefer postfix instead) you can refer the online documents. Here is one of them: http://computernetworkingnotes.com/n...il-server.html

For sending to your domain from outside you have to get your domain name registered with domain registrar. For sending it from your domain to outside world you still need to register your domain. Otherwise your IP will be blacklisted and destination mail server (for example gmail.com) will start bouncing your emails.

You can send internal emails without any issue but for sending or receiving it from outside you have to get your domain name registered. Apart from domain name you should have a valid mx record for your mail server. Make sure that reverse lookup works fine for your domain etc.
