3-way Firewall

right now I have a cyrix 233 running suse 9.0 that I use as a firewall. the modem is the external interface and the lan card the internal. with the firewall setup in yast you only have the option of 2 interfaces one in one out. I would like to shove another lan card in here and have the modem and 1 lan card be external (one for internet the other for wifi) and the other lan card go to the internal network. can I do this or do I have to dig another old box out of the shed and have 2 firewalls?

hi,

your only problem comes from the soft you use so as to run the firewall. the linux box can have as many LAN cards as you have PCI slots in it, and it can be configured to firewall between everyone of them.
you sure can use iptables to do this, even though there must be some softwares that would help you doing it if you don't want to bother with iptables.
