2 different mailservers; different users; same domain

I work for a non-profit organization who uses the infrastructure of another non-profit. My linux and networking skills are beginner to intermediate.

Here is my question:

I want to run a linux server with postfix - smtp for about 400 users.

Hostname = linux.example.org
publicdomain name = mail.example.org

The non-profit organization uses Domino for mail.

Domino hostname = hal.example.org
publicdomain name = mailman.example.org

1. Question:

How do I tell user email which server to go to? If mail address looks like this, baboow@example.org?

Neither I or the Domino admin know how to solve this. Ideally, the solution would not require dependence on Domino.

thanks

In postfix you need to setup an alias file that will rewrite the recipient address. For example:

user1@example.com user1@mailman.example.com
user2@example.com user2@mail.example.com

Google 'postfix aliases' or postalias
