100Mbps Full Duplex mode

At installation time, is it possible to give a command option like -100full?
For example on SuSe 9.1 with 2.6 kernel? The problem is that in our company we have all ports on 100 Full and the autodetection on linux doesn't work properly.

Kind Regards,

try
adding a script to inetd that runs,
ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex full

eth0 corresponds to your ethernet card....

or something similar.

probably not
your going to have to do this at the command line
once every thing including your nic card is installed
but then you could make a script out of it and have it run at start up or something like that

Hmm. That's not good. It's an network based install. Might be nice to have a feature like that .

Well, I'll just stick with no network performance during installation then. Thanks!
