1 modem, 2 routers, 2 networks -- need help!

Here is my situation:

I have a cable modem hooked into a Linksys WRT54GS router (wireless) that has been flashed with DD-WRT. This modem acts as a DHCP server handing out IP addresses 192.168.2.100 - 192.168.2.150.

I just received another router from my work (Cisco 871) that has been configured for me it to acts as a DHCP server dishing out IP's 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.150, this router also has a persistent VPN connection to my company's network (not wireless).

I would like to do something like this:

Modem-> Linksys (wireless) -> Cisco

So that I can have my personal computers on my wireless / personal network and have my work computer and IP phone on the cisco router (they require the vpn).

is something like this possible? If so, what setting do I need? I can currently reach the internet on my linksys router, but no luck with the cisco router...I am hesitant to mess around with the setting too much on the cisco router as it has been configured for me...

Additional note: I have another linksys router on hand if I for some reason need 3 routers to do this...

Additional info:

My goal is to seperate my personal (home network) with my work network.

is it possible to do something like this:

Modem -> Switch -> both routers into the switch ?

I don't need both of the networks to know about each other, it will be best if they are completely separate...I'm not sure how VPN exactly works, but I do not wan't my internet surfing and downloading to be going through my work's IP block

First, if both routers are handing out the same IP addresses, you could run into problems. I would decide which IPs will be for VPN traffic, and which will be for personal use. Eliminate that problem before you connect the two routers. I would change your personal router there if you're not confident about changing the 871 yet.

I have an 871, so I'm pretty sure that it has 4 switch ports and 1 routed Ethernet, but print me out a `show run` (from the privileged mode) and post that, and also post what kind of ports your linksys has and we'll see how this can be done.

[edit] Don't forget to x out any proprietary IP addresses or passwords, etc.![/edit]

Thanks for the help, but I have figured it out:

Each router runs DHCP on diffrent subnets, I then simply linked everything up as follows:

Cable Modem -> (WAN) Linksys (LAN) -> (WAN) Cisco (LAN) -> Work Computers

The linksys router handles wireless and has 3 additional ports. The thing I needed was to enable "IPSEC Pass through" in the dd-wrt router so that the VPN could tunnel between the subnets, everything is working great!
