[ipcheck] Problems with dns setup

Hello,

I keep getting this email and (I am not a reseller or a host company) when I add a new account and change DNS records and check internic propagation, I realized that my domains don't resolve properly (except main domain). I added an A entry in my WHM but didn't work.
Code:
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (mydomain.ev1servers.net) resolves to . It should
resolve to XXX.XX.XXX.XX. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as
the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if
you
believe everything else is correct.

You may be able to
automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for
your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager
I am very new to DNS and I don't want to mess it up through conf files

Thanks in advance
Ingres

DNS are public records luckily, so post a copy of your dns zone file to get a look at it's structure.

A good read is the DNS HOWTO at http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/DNS-HOWTO.html
