[CentOS] Problem with mrtg. No valid network interfaces detected.

So I'm trying to install MRTG now. Well, make it work.

Mrtg itself installed pretty much fine.
I can run the mrtg program and the cfgmaker config utility.

I've taken the community strintg from /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
started the snmpd service and ran the usual cfgmaker command to see if it detected the network interface.

Problem is it does not detect any valid network interfaces.

Quote:
root@blabla [/etc/snmp]# service snmpd start
Starting snmpd: [ OK ]
root@blabla [/etc/snmp]# cfgmaker [CommunitySring]@localhost
--base: Get Device Info on [CommunitySring]@localhost:
--base: Vendor Id:
--base: Populating confcache
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Descr lo --> 1
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Descr venet0 --> 2
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Ip 127.0.0.1 --> 1
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Type 24 --> 1
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Type 1 --> 2
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Eth --> 1
--snpo: confcache [CommunitySring]@localhost: Eth --> 2 (duplicate)
--base: Get Interface Info
--base: Walking ifIndex
--base: Walking ifType
--base: Walking ifSpeed
--base: Walking ifAdminStatus
--base: Walking ifOperStatus

cfgmaker [CommunitySring]@MyIP
gives the same error message.

This is the first time I'm having such a problem.

-SNMP is started.
-I have the correct community string
-snmpwalk works and returns items

Any thoughts?
