what is your favourite non ios/android-like based mobile system?

what is your favourite non ios/android-like based mobile system?

i saw there are several new, and less new, linux based mobile operating systems, totally third-part of android-based ones :

-postmarketos
-mobian
-ubuntu mobile
-sailfish
-pureos(purism)
-manjaro mobile

... do you know others mobile os from linux (or unixes?) for smartphones?

which one would you prefer? does some of you uses non-ios/android based phones? why?

I see since ten years, android-likes and ios are eating the most bigger part of mobile systems
almost two decades ago, no ones would imagine bberry or nokia leaving that market. Would you imagine, and how, in ten years, a non-android nor ios based system for your mobile?

The real Linux mobile distros like Mobian, PMOS, Manjaro, Arch, PureOS etc are simply a desktop distribution with a mobile shell and some cellular packages. There's multiple options for a shell. The top two mobile shells are Phosh (GTK) and Plasma Mobile(Qt).

Sailfish and Ubports don't operate like a traditional Linux distro. They feel the most like a mobile distro. On devices that support mainline Linux, Ubports runs a mainline kernel. However on most Android devices, Ubports makes use of an android shim called halium to help port to many devices.

I would suggest checking out some options at: https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePho...tware_Releases
