ubuntu on tablet?
i know canonical discuss with constructers for having there os in tablets...
but did it exist a tablet with ubuntu preinstalled?
if you tried ubuntu on a tablet, how is it?
i want to know everything
thanks for answer
I would buy an Ubuntu tablet for exactly two reasons:
- I wouldn't have to pay a Microsoft tax (I think it is impossible to get a tablet without OS)
- I would know that it is compatible with Linux and I can easily install the distro of my choice (in my case it would be Slackware, of course)
Actually I would rather go for a custom build desktop, may be Openbox with AWN or something similar. Not a fan of those dumbed down hard to customize DEs, but to each his own, if you like it then use it.
