Transferring android apps to an usb drive.

I have recently acquired an Android tv. But the problem is that the app store on the device isn't the official android app store. The Android tv has usb ports and can install apps from a usb drive. And I have an android phone that has apps on it. How do I move/copy some of the apps on my android phone to a usb stick?

Also I have tried selecting copy app to sd card on the android os but I can't seem to find the app on the sd card.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi,

assuming you have rooted your phone you should be able to just copy the apk files from /data/app/.

Connect your phone to your computer and use adb to check:
Code:

adb shell su -c "ls /data/app/"
Evo2.
