Tablet to use removable memory for running apps....?

I'd like my Samsung Galaxy to run applications from the micro sd card that is removable, how do I configure settings in my Android tablet to do this?

It runs Android 4.0.3.

I find that the apps I downloaded are in the in built memory of 8 gb in my 7 inch tab.

Best regards, Novatian.

there are reasons to do not this:
1. sdcard lifetime becomes shorter if a lot of IO operations
2. sdcard can be re- or unmounted unexpectedly, that is not always good for applications residing on it
3. sdcard is formatted in vfat and has very restricted range of capabilities

not a real answer, sorry

Some sd cards are designed for cameras,32 gb, class 10 for speed.

How can an sd card be wiped accidentally?

I currently like to use micro sd and sdhc cards as alternate HDD in my laptop. To run linux while keeping my larger HDD with windows 7.
