settings for playing audio an omap4460 board


Hi,


I am able to play .wav file on panda board (16 bit format).but i am unable to play .mp3 file its throwing some noise can any body please tell the necessary settings.
i ma using kernel 3.4.

Pls i want solution because i cnt play any audio or video on my linux 11.04, is there any link so i can download what to use.
