Opinions about Android 3.0

What are your opinions about Android 3.0? How do you think it will do on devices larger than smartphones?

it is made by google so it's good .

as well as their web browser and search engine and online office suite.

i don't think it will be good on devices larger than smartphones since anyways google is giving out their own google chrome os .

it is made for small screens i guess.

I was under the impression that 3.0 would be geared towards tablets, which makes me think that smartphones might get hosed a little on it

Android 3.0 is specifically aimed at tablets and devices with larger screens, so it will be great on those devices. I've watched some Android 3.0 demos and it's really neat. Actually I'm not sure it it will be ported to devices with smaller screens.

Well considering that Android 3.0 has a UI very similar to that of KDE's plasma-netbook, it probably will be installable on not only tablets but probably also netbooks and beyond. That said, didn't Google mention when Chromium OS was released that Chrome OS and Android will "converge" over time? In my opinion it's Android 3.0 that is the start of that. In my opinion the "marriage" of Android and Chrome OS is really just a form factor of Android that can work on larger screens (even PC screens).
