mobile broadband ZTE MF627 connecting
I've just installed karmic koala after running it in live mode. In live mode it connected directly to the internet by it's self through my zte mf 627 which surprised me as when I bought it I had found write ups saying it wouldnt work with Linux. now I've installed Karmic it won't connect, I remember a year or so ago I used another mobile broadband, and was required to type in a command line instruction which went along the lines of ****connect.sh up** I can't for the life of me remember any more anyone got any ideas please Cheers Mike

also update, it does connect automatically, when it wants to, but if it loses the connection (which it does with tedious regularity), there doesn't seem to be a way to prompt it to reconnect, if I left click on the network icon I have an option to connect to a wired or wireless network, but not to a mobile network |
read it all ! i've seen on my laptop that connections from cli using ppp work much better !i have a ppp working connection thank's to this link's.

couldn't get it to work, so bought another type of dongle for about £8 off ebay that worked, I recently tried the ZTE and it worked straight away, so obviously they have updated the kernel
