Memcpy function using NEON doesnt work in Andriod Linux Kernel
 

Dear all,

I have been trying to implement memcpy function using NEON instructions in order to make it fast in Andriod linux kernel, but it makes kernel hang. I have tried debugging it using Trace32 and apparently the function does copy properly. Kernel works well before kicking CPU 1.

Anybody has any experience on this issue ?

Yes. I've had 20 years of experience with this exact issue. There is a mistake in your code.

ok. I didnt know that NEON technology is that old, WOW. BTW, whats the mistake in my code.
