Install mobile Linux inside VirtualBox VM
Is it possible to install a mobile (GNU/)Linux distro inside a Virtualbox VM? If yes, could I please get some instructions.

No.
Virtualbox only works for x86 and x86_64 processors. Mobile processors are ARM based.
Try qemu instead. It does have a few emulated ARM CPUs.
