help migrate from PocketPC v6.1 to Android v2.1

I am now the proud owner of an Android 2.1 phone. (Froyo is promised for late November.) Can someone help me migrate from pocketpc v6.1 contacts and calendar and sync to Android?

I made my own mess when I just grabbed my SIM and fired up the Android without being systematic about capturing and moving my contacts and events details. Now I have SIM data, olde-phone data, new-phone data
in various states of wrong at each place. Let's not forget that 'droid sync's with its Google(R) mothership and so I have that other view of the data.

This would not be that big an issue except that I have lots of details from lots of folks and I don't want to lose any more than I must.
After all, I did screw up so there will likely be some small price.

I suppose it is okay (as a starting position) for the phone to sync with Google and then sync Google with my laptop. I would prefer to
sync phone to laptop directly -- it is MY data.

Merci d'avance,

I found a WM backup program and made a backup and looked at the backup file and it was just a .csv of all the contact details, just renamed that and imported.

Any chance you (or some other noble reader) can tell me where to get this program? My park-it-PC has contacts on SIM, phone and "outlook".

Merci d'avance,

if they are all sync'ed to outlook then just export from outlook, even easier.

"outlook" on park-it-PC...
... still waiting for froyo

There is some way to sync my phone with a desktop Outlook(tm).
I don't use win-doze enough to know how. Can you tell me how?

Once I get a desktop outlook copy of "everything" how do I sync
my Android with desktop outlook?

Thanks,
